Livin', Eatin', Drinkin', and Sippin' -The granola way.

Food

Kettle and Fire Bone Broth

Everyone should drink bone broth. Once a day, three times a day, or more. The benefits are too many to name. Please look into the benefits of adding bone broth to your lifestyle on your own time, or don't and just trust me that it is life changing. One tip I will share with you - If you feel like you are getting sick, drink a cup of broth on the hour for at least 12 hours. It will help. Kettle and Fire is my favorite - they are the best grass fed broth in my opinion.

Spill the Tea!

Tea. I love tea. Please choose your tea brands with caution. Make sure you're drinking organic tea, or a reliable brand. It is very easy for herbs to be sprayed with nasty pesticides. I guarantee you can find a flavor you enjoy - you just have to try a couple! Two of my favorite brands are Yogi tea, and Buddha tea (Holy Basil flavor - it is amazing for stress). You can purchase Holy Basil Buddha tea on Amazon. Tea is healing for the mind and body, it soothes your soul.

Condiments

Condiments have SO many nasty ingredients in them. Especially inflammatory seed oils, unnecessary sugars, and high fructose corn syrup. I'm going to be bold and say STOP using Heinz ketchup, and hidden valley ranch. Throw it out - at least until they change their ingredients. Read your labels! And stop feeding it to your kids! Avoid canola oil, high fructose corn syrup, and corn syrup at all cost. The damage they can do to your body is too great to have even just once. Primal kitchen has amazing CLEAN condiments for any occasion and recipe, and they taste fantastic - trust me. They also have clean mayo, and clean avocado oil.

Pasta!

This is one of the only clean pasta brands I have found - and I'm obsessed. Have you heard of einkorn flower? If you haven't, please look it up. It's an ancient grain and nature's original wheat, it is gluten free, but doesn't taste the way normal gluten free pasta tastes. I do not follow a gluten free diet, but I eat this pasta by choice because of their ingredients. They also have fantastic sauces, and a variety of other products. You can eat as much of this pasta as you choose, and not feel overly full, or bloated. There is no need to eliminate carbs when you're eating carbs your body gets nutrients from!

Crackers

Have you ever read the ingredients on Wheat Thins, or Ritz crackers? Next time you go to buy them at the grocery store, take 30 seconds and check out the ingredients. They are less than ideal. Simple Mills makes an incredible clean cracker, and in my opinion, they are better than the typical brands you're use to buying at the store. They have a variety of flavors, and I have yet to be disappointed.

Love wine but not the headache?

This wine is my absolute favorite. Frey does a fabulous job making sure they do not have any added sulfites, or unnecessary sugars in their wine. The combination of sulfites and added sugars usually make for a rough morning. Try this brand - you won't be disappointed.
